On June 4, 2021,"Today I'm your Teacher of Sport!" - action 4 took place, at the “Riu Segre” School in Lleida, Spanish. The entire class of group A of 20 children from 11 to 12 years old participated in the activity taught by Blai Jardi in which the children were explained the importance of maintaining moderate physical activity throughout a person's life.

Representatives from Club Pitch & Putt Barcelona Teia, as organizers, they channeled this physical activity through the sport of Pitch & Putt, a sport that is practiced from 4 years to 90 or more, an inclusive sport in which there is no discrimination for reasons of gender, age or social level, a sport sustainable because it does not consume natural resources despite being played outdoors, a sport that can be played in an hour and any day of the week, so it is easy to combine with daily activities, a sport that can be practiced as a family, with friends or individually, a sport in which you compete against yourself and without physical contact, so it does not generate violence and develops fundamental values ​​such as self-improvement and honesty. All this has been introduced by Blai to the students and has also been developed in a practical way with introductory elements to the sport of Pitch & Putt adapted to be able to carry out the activity away from a Pitch & Putt field. Organizers had distributed the students into 4 groups, each group has carried out an exercise in a work station for periods of 5 minutes and alternating positions, so that all groups have gone through all the stations 2 times and finally had carried out a collective exercise with the delivery of a gift to the participants. Blai's empathy and the dynamics of the activity have captivated the children and in the next school year we will repeat the experience even if it is not within the framework of the Erasmus program.

Who is Blai Jardi?

Blai Jardi is a top Pitch & Putt player with more than 20 years practicing the sport of Pitch & Putt, he has competed in all the Catalan national Pitch & Putt competitions, has participated in international and national Opens and is part of the first team Lleida division of Pitch & Putt and also of the senior team of the first division of pitch & Putt, also actively participates as a volunteer in many sports activities.

Club Pitch & Putt Barcelona Teia participated in the “WoW EUROPE” Project activities implementing the project work plan on the national level in the restriction period of COVID-19 during the school year, 2020/2021.
